Pvt. William M. Miles, Company E, is buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery at Winn, Clarke County, Alabama.
Pvt. James Lawrence Neely, Company G, b: 1844, d: 1914, of Coosa County is buried at Shiloh Cemetery in Chilton County about 5 miles south of Clanton. He was one of twenty Coosa County men who went to Mobile and joined the 38th Alabama. Back to Company G
Pvt. Charles Phillips of the 38th is buried at Gaddies Chapel Cemetery in Clarke County just north of Jackson on Walker Springs Road about 2 miles east of Hwy 43. Phillips is reported to be a native American Indian, who was buried outside the confines of the cemetery beside a large tree due to his heritage. This is reported in 1999 by Gary Miles of Chickasaw, Alabama.

That is in Lake Erie near Sandusky. It was a
prison for Confederate Officers. He is probably buried farther from his home in Alabama at Camden than any other. Back to Company H

Napoleon Boneparte Dodson (from a Dodson descendant as told to Barry Wyatt). Napoleon was on a furlough from the CSA Army, returning home by boat on the Alabama River. It was said that he was sick and went to the rail to vomit, fell overboard and drowned. His body was recovered and buried on the bank of the Alabama River below Selma. The Dotson Burials are from Barry Wyatt.
